  The Automotive Technology Training Center offers a variety of programs to prepare students for employment in related occupations.

Automotive Technology Programs include training in:

  • power transmissions
  • fuel systems
  • tune-ups and emission
  • electrical systems
  • suspension
  • alignment and brakes, and
  • other systems related to mechanical maintenance and repair of domestic and foreign automobiles.

Automotive Collision Repair

This program offers training in automotive refinishing from small repairs to complete refinishing. Damage analysis, shop management, estimating, minor and major collision repair, fiberglass and plastic repair, and mechanical components are covered.

Commercial Truck Driving

Students will learn the driving industry:

  • driver training
  • log books and appropriate paperwork
  • long haul and local driving rules and regulations

Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology

This program includes various types of diesel engines and their components, principles of construction, and electronics function and service in preparation for positions in construction, industrial machinery, and marine diesel repair, as truck and bus technicians, or material-handling equipment technicians.
